Masjid Quba – The First Mosque In Islam

Masjid Quba is a very important mosque located just outside of Medina. It was the first mosque built in Islam, constructed in 622 CE when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his followers Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique moved from Mecca to Medina.
